As I stated in a previous thread, I do think we should rewrite LB from the ground up. We should also rethink our goals, write them down as the definitive goals of the project. We should also communicate in a clear, consistent manner, and well...

I think that we should re-write LO as the "Microsoft Works" of OpenOffice.org. I'm pretty sure that we could write/find/or have someone else write a the required OpenDocument libraries. If, as that, we should remove some of the more "fluffy" components of LO. We should consolidate Liberty Web into Liberty Word. I do also think we should remove Liberty Point. We should also make LO modular, and allow the user to install plugins. Just my ideas here, folks!

I agree but motivation seems to be quite lacking around here just now...

What can we do?

Yep. No one bothers with this anymore, and I'm sure no one bothers with Liberty Office anymore. Since its open source we could just fork it and recode it.
